Democratic flip-flopping and/or the ticket having conflicting views seems like a potential game-changer, giving the unity on the right. Let's see if Republicans pounce on it.

Should Ragu appear, we're all gonna get smoked.

Ford didn't need the bailout (especially when compared to GM) and GM wouldn't be anywhere close to where it is without the assistance/handout/undeserved miracle, and to say that things would be just as they are now without it isn't logical.

Depending on how generously you want to define the term, there are 5-8 swing states where Jill Stein isn't currently on the ballot.

Ford didn't need the bailout directly, but without it the second level parts manufacturers would have collapsed and the resulting damage would have swept it into the undertow.

Pretty much exactly on cue, Trump's great polling in the wake of his convention has started to recede the last two days. Post-Dispatch had Clinton +1 in Missouri.

It's going to be sad. After reports came out that he had flipped on the issue, he confirms that he hasn't flipped.

Now, as a result of the uproar, he is going to have to flip.

..and those are the manufacturing jobs that, once gone, are likely gone forever.

Zero impact on election. Non of those folks would switch their votes.
A lot of noise is all it is.
