I think with the craft beer industry blowing up, any future SJ Outings would be borderline fun.

Craft beer - it's a great time to be alive!

I remember the Stone Age of Bud, Schlitz, etc. and the big deal of Coors becoming available on the east coast (premise of the Smokey and the Bandit movie). And then came Michelob - ooh, wow, funny shaped bottles too.

We've come a long way! And there are a lot of craft microdistillers too.

    Good times.

The two goofballs who bought and destroyed the O.C. Register were Aaron Kushner and Eric Spitz. Spitz is the president of Narragansett. He promised a truckload for the company Christmas party. Like their plans for the OCR, he didn't deliver.

Just finishing a Rhinegeist Truth (American IPA) after having a Platform Cherimoya Project Pale with Meyer Lemon earlier. Looking at finishing the Ohio trio with a MadTree Psychopathy in a moment.

Steel Toe makes some damn fine beer. Can't wait to visit their table at the Great Taste in two weeks.

Treehouse Sap. Had a few Treehouse (Monson, Mass on CT boarder) before but went there for the first time last week. Looks like some guy decided to use his farmhouse to brew beer. Buddy, who goes there at least every other month, said they're moving to a bigger location soon.
