F the noise about a kinder, gentler SJ.com.
I have been keeping a list.
After the election.... aw, hell, where's my damn list.
    Never mind.

I'm just hoping Tony was watching the re-runs of NYPD Blue on Audience today. They ran one of my favorites, an episode from season 10 that begins with Sipowicz's little boy walking in on McDowell naked. Very funny and damn, Charlotte Ross was beautiful. (Still not bad, but the plastic surgery was far from perfect.)

Best part was Sipowicz telling her that the kid insisted on being dropped off at Hooters instead of school that morning.

Pretty heavy episode after that, but fun stuff at the start.

It predates Cruz. The Republicans crawled into bed with the religious right to get Reagan elected and think they've regretted it since. Tolerated it for the Shrub. But Cruz's reputation nay have sealed the deal.

Palin? I honestly think they saw Hillary's success vs. Obama and said "She's got a vagina. Women will vote for her!" If they'd only taken the time to vet her it's a different race.

Wonder if he's ever had a haircut from a black man before. Worth a question?

I don't know, isn't that the Bob Knight look? I assumed that guy must cut half of Indiana's hair.

I don't know who this is, but he's got a check mark and pretty much nailed it with this.

I think you could make a strong and interesting case that McCain's selection of Palin was one of the most pivotal moments in modern presidential election history, and it's made only more incredible by how much McCain clearly regretted the decision only a few days after it. If he picked Joe Lieberman, the way most of us thought he would, that election plays out differently and it doesn't open the bonko can of worm that is Palin and her acolytes, putting the GOP on its path to loony town. Obviously the Bush v. Gore recount is the most narrow, massive swing in recent memory, but that Palin pick is probably a close second.

Also, as for the Republicans caving to Trump... What other option did they have? I think it's reprehensible that he's one of two people left for the job, but I can remember when there were 16 of them on the stage and thinking, Does it have to be one of these guys? They were all terrible candidates.

Folks, if you haven't seen it yet, take a brief break from politics and go watch the video link that Songbird posted this afternoon of drones in the Random Video Clips thread. It is probably one of the Top Ten non-porn things that I have ever seen on the Internet and it is completely safe for work. Hat tip - to Songbird. I want the backstory on how he found that clip! OMG.
