Because the Clinton camp and the media want it to be alive.

Or, because your guy is too much of an asshole to be magnanimous. To a family who lost their son in service of the country. "He has no right"? Bullshit.

Funny how dead soldiers are only permitted to be used politically by the left.

Has there ever been a major party presidential candidate who shit on a Joe Q Public private citizen before like Trump shat on the Muslim mother and father?

Funny how you equate "I don't agree with them" or "that's ridiculous" (responses on here from the left about the mom at the RNC) to Trump's "He has no right."

    Pretty large difference there.

I think Trump is being a buffoon here, but people are making a little much of, "He has no right." He doesn't actually mean that. It's a lazy figure of speech.

Tough shit. He's running for President of the United States. Putting some thought into what you say is a pretty big part of the job.

When you're standing at a party convention on national TV, I don't think you're Joe Q Public "private citizen" any more. You are Joe Q Political Pawn.

    Yes, that's definitely fair.

Bullshit. Thin-skinned Cheeto said it (well, wrote it). That's no figure of speech. He genuinely thinks no one should be allowed to speak ill of him. (see: his ghostwriter on Art of the Deal, former campaign workers, and THE MEDIA for crissakes.)

EDIT: And, oh yeah... THE POPE! Among dozens of others.
