I dunno, I think his brand takes a much bigger hit from losing in historic fashion than simply quitting and blaming others.

That was a really bizarre moment. He did great with the baby crying, initially. The crowd was loving it. He came off as genuine. And then, the 180-degree turn. He clearly got rattled, big-time.

It's a poor reflection on Trump, of course, but I'm not so sure it's also not a poor reflection on 538. I didn't believe the 55 number on July 27 one bit, even with Hillary more deserving of an orange jumpsuit on Jan. 20 rather than an inauguration pants suit.

 

Carson was the best, because, for about 3 weeks he was a "I guess people like me enough that I can start doing crazy shit like pretending the Holocaust could have been prevented by concealed weapons."

 

Trump may be an idiot, but Hillary is a lot more likely to be brought up on those charges.
