Finally watched "What We Do in the Shadows" today and, what a wonderful mockumentary. I loved it.

Comments are a riot from the comics fans.
Movie critic doesn't need to know source material well. Critics are reviewing the movie for the general audience, which also doesn't know the source material.

Me too. I've never let the critics talk me out of going to see a movie, though. I like what I like. Suicide Squad just looks like fun to me. Plus, you know, Margot Robbie.

Saw "Straight Outta Compton" this weekend and found it fascinating. I was ignorant in the 80's of what was going on in LA and the 'hood and did not realize that what they were singing about was their lives. Amazing what Dr. Dre and Ice Cube were able to accomplish in their lives given their start. Really good film.

"Jason Bourne" was so predictable and the tensions that made the earlier films so good was so lacking this time IMHO; its like they decided more action would be an okay substitute. Very disappointing.

It was a fun, summer popcorn movie, nothing more. Felt like this was DC's overreaction to Guardians of the Galaxy. Every new scene started a new song. I can't remember much orchestral score. That's ok. This movie gave me back a lower key version of classic Will Smith. I'd watch a solo spin off of his Deadshot. He and Margot Robbie stole the show for me. Jared Leto was a fine Joker, and made it different enough from Nicholson and Ledger. Hopper from Stranger Things had a small role.

As far as super team up movies go, it's no Mystery Men. Make of that what you will.

'Mystery Men' was great. I love that movie.
I was pleased to see it recently on a list of great movies no one has seen.

Saw it tonight and my response was similar. It was okay, bu nothing special. Deadshot and Harley were definitely the best parts of the movie, though I also liked Viola Davis's portrayal of Amanda Waller.

"Three to Tango" is on TV right now. Good God, did I have a huge crush on late-90s Neve Campbell. HUGE.

    EDIT: Still do.
