This poll says voters trust Clinton to handle Supreme Court nominations more than Trump by 8 points.

It's gotta be killing Fox to report that.

For all they do, Fox has always played its polling relatively straight. Don't know why, maybe it's because having an in-house poll unit would be mucho expensive and subcontractors have their own reputations to worry about.

 

As we learned from Obamamotors reorganization bankruptcy is a perfectly acceptable financial technique. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Either way it's legal.

 

It's a BS story to call out Ryan Zinke. I hope that besides reading the piece that DD posted, do yourself a favor and read Zinke's bio. I happen to know him and have not come across too many more honorable people. The guy was a All Pac 10 OT for Oregon and then became a Navy Seal. Was Executive Officer in charge of SEAL Training at Coronado and then became Commander Joint Special Forces in Iraq.

 

Johnson and Weld are performing pretty well tonight. Either would be better than Trump.

Weld is a veteran and appealing pol. His Senate debates with Kerry in 1996, and they had seven, were examples of civic virtue on both sides. Dunno Johnson so well, but he was Governor of a real state. Had to do real stuff.

 

I will listen to Peter Tosh's "Legalize It" in their honor, a song that presciently pledges marijuana as a cure for both cancer and tuberculosis.
