Interesting story here. Points out that the Dems aren't in lockstep with Brown's policies.
California is flush with cash. So why the warnings to prepare for recession?

Sorry, but pre-revolution Iran and post-revolution Iran are two different countries. When you made a deal with the former, you don't owe anything to the latter. It would be like making a deal with England in 1770 and now owing the United States.

That money was tied up in The Hague since 1981? And now, after 35 years, the Obama administration decides to "settle"? When will the idiot socialists learn that appeasing terrorists leads to more terrorism?

    Not 20, more like 8.

It wasn't the Tea Party that brought "trickle down" back into vogue. Instead it was Dubya's 2001 upper income tax cuts that brought it back with a vengeance, and with a predictably disastrous effect on our fiscal health. That was eight years before we'd heard of the Tea Party.

Trickle down won't go away because its adherents don't care about the factual evidence. They're either wealthy people interested only in themselves, or closed minds blinded by loyalty to right wing ideology. No amount of proof that it doesn't work will knock them off their positions.

This is going to be hard for you to accept, but there will always be terrorists.

I'm not following this YF rant at all.

Are you saying if you're Norwegian you're really only allowed to be called Norwegian if you're "pure bred"? Whatever that means. So someone of African heritage can't be Norwegian ?

And how does any of this relate to the 2016 election ?

I have no idea what this "Norwegian Man" shtick means.

Also, and this is more of a pre-Trump thought, but: I have felt like the Republicans can't abandon "no tax increases on anyone ever" because if they don't stand for that on the fiscal front, what do they stand for?

Yeah, so it's best not to anger them, occasionally give in to their demands and mostly ignore them. What's the worst that could happen? #therealworldisnotaboardgame

I mean, this is a pretty damning indictment of Trump (along with the mountain of others). He won't meet with Trump due to a lack of three things in Trump ...

But Charles Koch bases all of his decisions — whether they're in business, politics or his personal life — on a set of "guiding principles" that underpin his free market philosophy. He is known to carry the checklist, which includes the words integrity, humility and respect, in his suit jacket pocket.

    Why Koch won’t meet Trump
