Any president, Bartlet or Walken or whoever, after having the POTUS daughter kidnapped, a secret service agent killed, the entire nation thrown into a 25th Amendment crisis, would have ordered the "French Prince," who started it all by slipping her a date rape drug, dragged off in shackles and hung by his heels in Gitmo until he sang like a little bird, "diplomatic immunity" be damned.

Instead, we never hear another word about him.

 

These two dipshits from Michigan beat the hell out of him ... One of them kept calling him a "mook"

 

That always bothered me too. Dude drugged the daughter of the POTUS and walked away (as far as we know).

 

The MS storyline never bothered me. But yeah, the kidnapping storyline was godawful.

Best show on TV for seasons 1, 2, 3 and most of 4. Seasons 5 and 6 were meh. Final season was pretty good.

 

Don't remind me. Never liked that storyline, especially the stuff with Jean-Paul.

 

The MS storyline was kind of clunky but it was intended as a parallel for JFK and his addison's, Reagan/Alzheimer's and even FDR and his polio (which was not really understood by most of the electorate).

Maybe we need a WW thread in Anything Goes. I think there used to be one, way back in the day.
