Uh, no. I did some security work back in the day before getting into this racket. You take them all seriously. Perhaps a few hours with the FBI might get him to STFU, but a boy can dream, right.

 

What would be better than videos and still pictures of Trump being hauled into court, in cuffs, then booked on felony charges of threatening assassination?

Have him sit a day or two in a holding cell. What great pics would come out of that.

 

Yeah, they do have a way of missing the whole point of the show. I've heard people actually say that Bunker's famous suggestion that every airline passenger be issued a gun before boarding was a good idea and they say it with a straight face.
One high school friend, who is much more conservative than I am said that they couldn't make a show like All in the Family these days because of how "politically correct" everyone is.
They kind of miss the point that the show's creator, Norman Lear, is no conservative. They also miss the point that Archie Bunker was meant to be the butt of jokes, much like the racist townsfolk in Blazing Saddles.
I don't ever remember a show where Archie didn't get some sort of comeuppance at the end or one where his world view was somehow vindicated.

 

Bernie Sanders is much more conservative than you are.
