Starman, et al, have you reviewed that DJT reveal all book that came out this week? I wonder if it has any Studio 54 stuff.

If only the GOP had nominated someone who didn't advocate murdering his opponent, we could have a real discussion about the Clintons' lack of ethics. Because I think it's actually frustrating. But Trump is such a vile individual surrounded by cowards and enablers, it doesn't matter. At this point, potential corruption is so much better than this disgusting disgrace of a man.

So the emails revealed that executives of the Clinton Foundation asked the Secretary of State for favors. Do we realize how many people ask favors of all elected and appointed local, state and federal officials every day? Some are granted, most are not. Asking someone to help set up a meeting with someone else is not corruption, it's how things work.

If it was reported today that Hillary Clinton delivered pallets of State Department cash to Clinton Foundation employees and snorted coke through the 100s with them, off of Anthony Weiner's dick, I would still not vote for her opponent in this particular race.

Exactly. This all seemed completely above board with zero chance of quid pro quo. Since Huma Abedin was on both payrolls it makes sense that she would have been point person to coordinate.

The problem comes up when politicians start granting favors in return for cash / gifts. See McDonald, Bob

Isn't it possible to be concerned about both?

The United States has had for over 100 years the Department of Commerce whose MISSION is to promote, that is, do favors for, American businesses at home but mostly abroad. My Dad's first job was there, at the Bureau of Standards, keeping America safe from the metric system.

LOL. Was Clinton Secretary of Commerce?

The one guy these emails discuss isn't even an American.

Hillary turned the State Department into pay-to-play operation, benefiting her family, friends, and donors to the foundation -- which has its own issues.

The Clinton used Dept of Commerce as their cash register prior to elevating to State.

The Clintons put a contract out on their first Sec of Commerce Ron Brown. He died in a mysterious Air Force plane crash that even Maxine Waters termed suspicious.
