So Clinton is to blame for the bad economic stuff that happened under Bush but Obama is to blame for the lack of good stuff that has happened under Obama.

    Got it!

    Thanks, old_hussein_tony!

Ewwwww ... I watched that this past weekend. I'd read the book and liked it a lot, but that movie sucked.

I suppose you could blame Clinton for everything since if you want to let Obama off the hook. But with Obamacare trashing everything in sight, that would probably be a mistake.

Still, there are plenty of others to blame, too, since Democrats are so into "sharing." It's all OK, though, because Clinton acolytes like Raines and Gorelik got ridiculously rich.

I know none of you will watch, but even Bill Clinton at the end rails on Democrats for blocking Republican efforts to avert disaster.

Can you explain -- or maybe find a meme or video -- of how Obamacare is "trashing everything in sight?"

It's really a shame that party posturing remains foremost in your mind, o_t. You might make better decisions if it wasn't.

Yeah we had this discussion about 10 days ago. Pointing fingers at the repeal of Glass-Steagall is silly. It had little or nothing to do with the collapse. But speaking of Ayn Rand disciples, Alan Greenspan was among the biggest cheerleaders of the financial deregulation movement of '80s and '90s.

25 People to Blame for the Financial Crisis - TIME

The Federal Reserve chairman — an economist and a disciple of libertarian icon Ayn Rand — met his first major challenge in office by preventing the 1987 stock-market crash from spiraling into something much worse. Then, in the 1990s, he presided over a long economic and financial-market boom and attained the status of Washington's resident wizard. But the super-low interest rates Greenspan brought in the early 2000s and his long-standing disdain for regulation are now held up as leading causes of the mortgage crisis. The maestro admitted in an October congressional hearing that he had "made a mistake in presuming" that financial firms could regulate themselves.

Act of God, amirite? Just say the word. You know you want to. It kills you that you can't say it openly.
