Penn State AD charged with perjury -- *UPDATE 2* Sandusky Arrested Again

I particularly enjoy the attempts to spin the Costas interview.

 

He is a very bad person. Truly one of the worst people in this whole mess, and that's saying something. He is actively distorting evidence and playing a huge shell game with it in an attempt to defend Joe Paterno, to the point now where he's so far down the rabbit hole, he believes the independent testimony of 15+ accusers is entirely fabricated for money.

Think, just for a second, all the things you have to give the Penn State people the benefit of doubt on for Zeigler's rantings to be true.

A bunch of people, OVER THE COURSE OF FOUR DECADES, need to have been making shit up in order to smear Jerry Sandusky. Every instance of a witness coming forward to say they talked to other assistants about Sandusky, that all has to be made up. Mike McQueary needs to have made up the entire scene in the shower, then made up the agony he had in speaking to his father, then Paterno. All the notes the administrators made about Sandusky needing to not have access to the building anymore, that all needs to be a big misunderstanding that Jerry could have easily cleared up, but poor Joe Paterno did not have the legal power to even speak to him about such matters, so in an athletic complex that he almost literally built, a potential rapist got to run around and there was nothing anyone could do. They were the real victims here, smeared like this. When Sandusky froze up on Costas, that's because he's not a good public speaker, not because he was sexually attracted to children. State troopers and investigators need to be in on the conspiracy. Sara Ganim needs to be in on the conspiracy, purposefully concealing the truth to further her career. Matt Sandusky, Jerry's adopted son, needs to be in on the conspiracy because he wanted money and that's why he testified against Jerry.

The amount of people who need to be wrong, lying, misinformed, greedy and scrupulous is STAGGERING. But Zeigler just keeps moving the shells, tap-dancing and putting on a crazy magic act, all in the name of feeding a delusional sect of Penn State fans the hope that this has all been a big media conspiracy, and Joe was actually the saint he was made out to be.

It's batty.

I read through that whole thing because until this point I've never figured out her motivation for ruining her career and life on such a petty, meaningless grudge. After all of that, I still don't get it. WTF was her malfunction?

 

I didn't even bother to read this, but good God, they're still giving this guy a platform to deny the charges? Holy shit. What editor thought it was a good idea for a reporter to grant this interview. It's a goddamn travashamockery.

 

That's a great question. Best I can tell, there are no "good guys" in the Kane story.

 

She's a sociopath who has tried to run over anyone in her way since she was elected. She's attempted to make life hell for opponents and people working in her own office. This bitch was disbarred a year and a half ago and didn't bat an eye.
