Show me where in the Constitution that the president may be impeached for consensually screwing an intern.

By mentioning HR, you're implying that he deserved some sort of sanction .

 

The GOP screwed up the Bill Clinton impeachment in so many ways, but possibly the most dangerous way was by devaluing the very process of impeachment. I can guarantee that the next time an impeachment threat becomes absolutely necessary, it's going to have to cross a very high bar before the public (and therefore Congress) will have the appetite for it. Of course, given that articles of impeachment will be filed against President Clinton II on Jan. 21, 2017, we'll find out soon enough.

And perjuring oneself during a deposition about said shenanigans would generally be seen as a no-no ... unless your last name's Clinton, of course.

 

There's a couple of weird ones in California (Districts 21/22, 33rd and 51st) but I've seen it be a lot worse than this (I used to live in one of the worst drawn districts from the 2002 redistricting). California also went to a Citizen's Redistricting Commission for the latest redrawing of the maps which makes it a little different. There were actually a lot of communities that fought to stay with other communities during the process and some of that is reflected in this map.

 

Oh, don't get me wrong. I don't think they should do it. But I don't think practically that it matters. You have big liberal states that are gerrymandered and you have big conservative states that are gerrymandered. It all evens out.
