So if hed lie about something thats the equivalent to jaywalking would you trust him with something that's equivalent to, let's say, oh I don't know rape?

And I also believe trying to impeach him was a load of shit, but you don't have to twist yourself into a knot defending him.

What do you mean? Trust him not to rape? Trust him not to testify truthfully in court about someone else who raped?

Jeez people, this was 20 years ago. The American people rejected the charges against Clinton in an election. When he was impeached anyway, the Republican party's ratings went down to where Trump's are, today. If Al Gore had been a good politician, which he wasn't, he'd have won with 55 percent of the vote.
Let it go. You have something to say about Hillary, say it. But arguing about a closed case does no one any good.

Do they all receive the same sentence for a perjury conviction? Or does the judge take the circumstances and the crime into consideration?

Don't tell that to Trump. He still brings it up.

BTW, do you feel speeders should all receive the same punishment? No matter if they do 1 mph over the speed limit, or 50 mph over the limit?

Sure sounds that way. After all. Speeding is speeding, right?

When the Republicans were dominant in the '80s, lefties would argue about Nicaragua, which not one in 100,000 voters cared about. Now, we are arguing about Monica on this board, which not one American in 100,000 who isn't a wing nut can even remember.

How many of these perjurers are former states attorneys general? How many are admitted to the bar of the U.S. Supreme Court? How many hold final authority over the U.S. Department of Justice?

DQ doesn't feel that there's different levels of importance in perjury. He feels they're all equal.

I'm just using his logic to point out that in his world, since all cheating is bad, then he should be lumping his students who cheat on their significant others in with the plagiarists and test cheats.
