    Yeah, a thinking person would suggest that a President committing perjury is a lot more serious than some street thug saying he didn't rob that liquor store.

    The air strikes occurred during the impeachment hearings in December 1998. They were also, allegedly, in retaliation for Iraq futzing around with the UN inspection teams and playing shadow games with their WMDs. That gave the Bush administration something (seemingly) credible to point to as proof that something was going on with Iraq and WMDs.

    I just can't imagine being so married to a party you'd want to argue its members were right no matter what, but a couple of you guys seem to find it so easy.
