I am absolutely convinced that Trump's best chance at winning would be to just completely shut the fuck up for the next few months. Let the election be a referendum on Hillary. When he talks, he loses ground.

 

Oh, don't get me wrong, I understand, and have made, this point.

I just wish Trump had spent some time with briefing books, hired a few campaign professionals, spent some money on producing and airing good tv ads, and didn't pick fights with Gold Star parents.

He could have beaten her. She's so bad, he still has a chance.
