Trump cheats at golf - the ONE and ONLY politics thread

It was discussed in real time in Sopan Deb's Twitter feed.

And, even though he knows this, he just tweeted out an article that doesn't mention that.

 

It was passed over earlier, but I want to re-iterate that I never "predicted" that Donald Trump would use the N-word any more than Donald Trump predicted that he would shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue.

 

She says she mislabeled it by calling it rape.

I haven't said she made anything up.

They had sex, and afterwards she felt humiliated. That's not in dispute.

Maybe, at some point, she even believed it to be rape.

Either way, she has clearly stated that she does not now believe that encounter to have been a rape.

Where else should we go with this?

 

I'm interested to hear how she misinterpreted the angry hair-pulling.

 

A lot of the people Trump still has to convince to vote for him are Republicans. Conceivably, they'd be open to voting for him.

 

I think he's going to win, too.

It wouldn't floor me to have a Bush v. Gore situation where Trump wins the popular vote but not the electoral college. He's doing very poorly in key swing states, believe me.

 

If he threw her off a 12th floor balcony, it seems you'd find a way to rationalize it.

 

Why do I have to rationalize what she doesn't describe as rape?

 

I'm more interested to hear what you believe she believes.

 

I don't think the hair pulling was part of the rape. Just a good old-fashioned domestic ass whipping.
