It's important to campaign in key districts in battleground states.

On the same day that Hillary Clinton reads off Breitbart headlines to tar Donald Trump, the Washington Post's fact checker takes a look at the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs, the journal edited by Huma Abedin’s mother, Saleha Mahmood Abedin, and which listed Huma on the masthead, as an assistant editor, from 1996 to 2008.

The New York Post described the journal as “a radical Muslim publication”.

But, the Washington Post has determined that it is a "sober academic journal with a range of viewpoints on Muslim life around the world."

The New York Post report cherry-picked quotes and mischaracterized articles published over the years, according to the WaPo.

Sure, there are "plenty of articles expressing conservative viewpoints" but, it's a "fairly innocuous journal," with some edgy articles.

Nothing to see here folks. The WaPo has declared this case closed.

Does Huma Abedin have ‘ties’ to the Muslim Brotherhood?

And your evidence the WaPo is wrong is ... ?

The Post's excerpts from the "Muslim Minority Journal" read like they could have just as easily been lifted from the "Sean Hannity Fan Forum."

A good wave of Hillary polling yesterday. People think that Trump's "pivot" is utter bullshit, of course. He surged briefly when the focus was on the Clinton Foundation. He has fallen back again now that he has tried to seize the spotlight. He has to try to make this election a referendum on Hillary Clinton if he is to have a chance. No one cares about his non-existent policy positions.

Well, this ain't exactly evidence that the WaPo is wrong so much as its benefit of the doubt is a pretty hefty one, but ...

Any journal with a man, his wife and three of their children on its editorial staff isn't a "staid academic journal." At best it's little more than an academic vanity press. More likely, it's something of a sham through which the Abedins funnel the largesse of others.

Huma Abedin a radical Muslim? OK. .... still not enough to make me think Donald Trump is a good alternative.

    You keep tryin' though!

We had more evidence Manafort was in bed with Putin - but that was dismissed as ridiculous by the same people claiming she's the editor of the Muslim Brotherhood's official fanzine in the USA.

Yeah, but he's not. He's committing voter fraud. I thought that Republicans had spent millions of dollars in various state's taxpayer dollars to prevent that.

I know this is kinda hard to process for some, but the fact that Trump is not a good, or even possibly preferable, alternative to Herself doesn't mean that Herself's above reproach.
