I think that Trump should agree to release his tax returns if Hillary agrees to release her short list of
    Supreme Court Justices.

I can't remember. I think they had it close enough to give him (me) hope.

a sham charity that exists to pay six-figure salaries to Clintons (Chelsea is full-time executive there) and their courtiers.

You apparently didn't notice Doc's response was not about the election. It was about the two choices presented him in the previous post.

    Carry on.

Yes. Badger addressed that, and I don't dispute that whoever is being quoted here is wrong.

Trump drove a dozen businesses or more into the ground. Caused the unemployment of thousands of American citizens, kept unemployed thousands of other Americans by allowing his licensing agreements to utilize foreign labor. Yet, Trump and his kids reaped hundreds of millions of dollars at the expense of Americans jobs and investments

It exists to pay six-figure salaries to Chelsea Clinton and others.

    Exists to do that.

Forget that. The Second Mile is clearly the instructive comparison here.

    This just isn't true.

A couple of Casinos that Trump owned closed after he sold them. (Along with other Atlantic City Casinos.)

Even where he lost money, with the Trump Shuttle, the business was sold, and lived on today under another name. Few, if any, would have lost jobs as a result.

The same goes for the Plaza Hotel, where job losses only came years later when subsequent owners turned much of it into co-ops.

Trump Steaks, Trump Vodka, Trump water, etc., were licensing deals. They were marketing deals, that would have employed few, marketing products already being produced under another brand. It's not like some butcher lost his job when Trump Steaks went out of business or a distillery closed when they stopped marketing Trump Vodka.

I'm not sure what your issue is here.

I'm not defending that paragraph and don't know who wrote it.

I do know that the "they did a lot of good" isn't a good enough defense for any person or group.

Bill Cosby's done a lot of good.

OK, so he's wrong as re: Chelsea and a Clinton Foundation salary. (Although I'd agree with YF that Herself, Bubba and Chelsea likely have enjoyed substantial pecuniary benefit as a result of their ... ahem ... work with the Clinton Foundation).

    But ...

    Now do Huma.

It's Kevin Williamson at NR ...
