Trump cheats at golf - the ONE and ONLY politics thread

Have you looked their percentages recently? It's not a high bar.

 

McCain got 4 percent among African Americans and 31 percent among Hispanics.

Romney got 6 percent among African Americans and 27 percent among Hispanics.

I'll say Trump does worse than all four of those.

We could do it cumulatively or individually. Your choice.

 

Wager?

 

The African-American totals are so low, that I think Trump beats them.

The Hispanic vote will be harder. The trend has been down for Republican nominees. Romney got less than McCain, who got less than Bush.

But Trump is already polling at around 25% with Hispanics.

I guess the main point is that Trump's numbers with minority voters are right around where you would expect a Republican nominee in 2016 to be.

It's not great, obviously, but folks also shouldn't act like Trump is some aberration, who is unable to attract minority voters to the GOP.

 

Trump's ties to Putin are really going to be an issue now:

Cleaning up a Tweet is a violation of the TOS that all networks agree to when they sign up to use Twitter on air (been there; done that). Twitter is a copyrighted format that gets to control its content.

 

WaPo dumps the notes and documents it used to write the book on Trump.

 

Now that these reporters have time on their hands I wonder if the WAPO editors will turn them
loose to write a book about The Clinton Foundation.

 

It's slowly dawning on some people they're being played for suckers, even as Rush keeps up a brave front.
