Maeda is a tactician of the highest order.

He's not dying. His stuff is all over YouTube.
And anyway, the bigger story today, by Richard Sandomir, is that no one knows who the hell is going to carry his final call on Oct. 2.
    TBS and MLBN are noncommittal.

A live game, one of Scully's last, is better than YouTube clips. And someone will carry his final game. So I disagree. Might be time to take the stick out of your ass.

Agreement doesn't enter into it, champ. No one has volunteered to carry the game.
An odd thing by a broadcast partner and the flagship.

Poor Greinke, just gave up his third homer.

I probably won't sleep until the decision is made! The fucking game will be carried. Non-story. Champ.

I'm just going to drop this into the Pirates debate. I was in the car and caught the last couple of innings of the Pirates-Cardinals game on ESPN Radio. The color guy who identified himself as a former GM (Jim Bowden?) was complaining that the Pirates had only brought up 7 or so players for September. Was bitching about how it affected the bullpen and couldn't believe that the team would try to save a few bucks by not paying major league minimum, per diems, and hotel costs for a few players for a month.

    Bowden is a known moron.
I don't know for sure, but maybe their affiliates are in the playoffs.
