I get the feeling FSU is going to win this game about 44-28.

Noles should have it wrapped up with that pick, which would mean a 6-6 weekend for the SEC in non-conference play.

Yeah, that defense was wretched. No pressure on the QB, yet no one right on top of Kupp either. Lot of 1-on-1 matchups. On one play, the guy (supposedly) covering Kupp got fooled by Gubrud rolling out of the pocket. So he joined two other defenders in shadowing the QB. As a result, Kupp was sitting all alone in the end zone with no Cougs within at least 10 yards of him. WTF?
The Coug defense needs to improve in a hurry. Good thing for them is their star on defense, Lunai, is supposed to back for the BSU game. He reportedly punched a guy at the Pullman Domino's at 1:30 a.m. about 10 days before the opener, but Leach has said that wasn't the true story at all.
Amazing stat from the game: WAZZU is 0-5 under Leach in openers. Factor in the season-ending Apple Cup, the record is 1-8.
