DW, my thinking is that HRC is the mainstream (and heir apparent) DNC candidate all along. Trump has been seen as more of a fringe.

Plus, both have unfavorables, yes, but if you vote for HRC, will people say, "oh you screw around, have bad email practices, and are corrupt too?" versus "oh, you are a racist daughter fucker (etc.) too?" if you vote the Don?

Seems to me the latter is far worse to be associated with.

 

Let me see if I have this straight. The accusation du jour is that to wriggle off the hook re: Trump U., Der Drumpendippenscheiss has donated to the campaigns of those charged with investigating him. Said donations are completely in keeping with his position that "When they call, I give. And you know what? When I need something from them, two years later, three years later? I call them. They are there for me."

And our takeaway here is that this shows how corrupt he is?

And, he was sued by franchisees in his "system" as far back as 1992.

 

People make this kind of argument every election, and it never actually plays out this way. Obama was going to lose in 2008 because when push came to shove, racist white people weren't going to vote for a black person even when they said they would.

Remember: Most white people don't think that Trump is racist. He doesn't use the n-word. He just "tells it like it is."

There's absolutely no evidence of a silent majority of guerilla Trump voters. Again, he consistently underperformed his numbers in the primaries.

It means he wasn't full of shit when he says he bought and sold politicians.

They're for sale. He bought them.

This is the system he's exposed and is promising to put an end to.
