On that level, I absolutely feel for Johnson. Maybe he just had a brain freeze. Maybe he is not well versed on the refugee crisis.

Trump thinking we need to create a military court to deal with our rapey soldiers is way worse. (I mean, how has he not seen A Few Good Men?) He seems to also think generals are political appointees, and that President Obama just rewarded all his friends.

 

He did basically the same thing on the Brexit and the Crimea. He is ignorant and incurious.
