And, yet, some people really think he'll be a good POTUS.

I've said it before, I understand being an Anybody But Clinton voter. I'll never understand enthusiastic supporters of Trump. Luckily, there aren't many of them.

I can only think of one.

Hillary may be better versed on the issues, but is her judgment any good?

What good is it to have someone who understands the issues, but makes the wrong decision (or makes decisions based on the political wind of the day).

And, don't tell me that Hillary Clinton "answers question". She avoids taking them, and when she does, she gives 15 minute answers, that reveal nothing about how she would act as president.

You can't point to one straight, direct answer she gave to Matt Lauer.

Trump thinks he can play Reagan.

I'm all for a President looking to emulate Reagan.

You should vote for Hillary then. She's the one with Alzheimer's.

Your point would have been stronger if you'd stopped right there.

And I would argue that, beyond some floor (which Trump, in my estimation, might not reach), returns to more "knowledge" on the part of the President are very small.

Much better to vote for a guy with terrible judgement and crazy and dangerous ideas that Congress may or may not be able to prevent from happening.

LOL. Your getting carried away by this.

We're on the last legs of an eight year period where we had a community organizer as president.

    Trump will be fine.

YF's defenses of Trump are much funnier when you realize what he's saying could apply to each and every one of us, and that it's actually meant to be an argument FOR him, not AGAINST him.

Except he has neither the intelligence or charm to do that. Nor has he nor will he surround himself with capable staffers like Reagan did.

Mentioning the traveshamockery that is Trump in the same breath as Reagan is an insult to latter and a compliment the former will not ever deserve.

He can't. Politics/ideology aside, you have to be a genuinely decent (and emotionally secure) person to play Reagan.
