Ford's announcement that they're moving all small car production to Mexico helped to supply Trump with a good line for his visit to Flint today.

 

Silver now saying what I said previously: if the tossup states, including Ohio, Florida, Iowa, and North Carolina, and Nevada continue to move into Trump's column, it's Clinton who can't afford to lose a single additional swing state.

She needs to, "run the table."

Vombatus is right. Always good to bet the dog when the spread goes up. But I remember 2004. The polls were all over the lot back then, too. There were no aggregators except electoral-vote.com and its prediction changed nearly hourly in the last three weeks. The damn exit polls were enormously wrong. I think we're all going to have to wait until Nov. 8. Maybe Trump will take a big lead before then. Maybe Clinton will. But I doubt it.

 

Well sure. And, while he has them all as tossups, he also only had Nevada at less than 50% for Trump.

They've all been moving towards Trump in the last couple of weeks.

Which means that as we come down the wire, the pressure to "run the table" may very well be on Clinton.

 

You could be right. The word "may" implies uncertainty, of which we have a boatload.
