What's always interesting about modern campaigns is how anxious they make everyone because of how many organizations do polling now. I think we'll get two or three more swings before election day, especially after the debates, and you can't convince me neither one of them can run a flawless campaign from here on. I still think, even if they're tied or he's leading by the margin on election day, she'll win because of a far more sophisticated GOTV operation. But it definitely could go his way. And if it does, oh my god the thinkpieces about how he's changed politics forever will be horrifying. The fingerpointing (really either way) will be horrifying. We'll drown in thinkpieces way before global warming gets us.
