And also: and that he would cut $1 trillion over a decade from the federal budget - without touching Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid or defense.

He may be too excited at the prospect of the apparent return of trickle-down economics.

 

I would guess he meant an electoral college landslide. If Trump were to win the popular vote by 5%, he'd likely run up a big electoral win.

 

If she is clearly losing a week after the first debate, and headed toward defeat, I wonder if the DNC will consider replacing her and blame it on her health.

 

If your interpretation is right, then sure. Five percent in the popular vote would get Trump or Clinton somewhere around what Obama got against McCain.
