That's exactly correct. The thinking is you can stand four (or even eight) years of Trump to keep the Court from swinging heavily liberal for the next 40 years.

 

If you think Trump will keep his promise and appoint the judges you want, I have some bad news about Trump honoring his word on anything.

 

They DO have to die, however. Maybe not during the next administration, but you never know.

 

This could also be true. You don't know with Trump. But you know exactly what you'll get with Hillary.

Plus, Trump is at least saying the right things in that regard. For now.

 

Of course they don't have to retire. But their ages are 83, 78 and 80. Retirement isn't what I'm most worried about.

I don't want to see Mike Pence judges appointed to the Supreme Court.

Iowa by 6. Monmouth has Trump +8

Colorado by 5. Emerson has Trump +4.

If Trump wins Colorado, and holds where he currently leads, he wins.
