And actually Obama released his birth certificate in 2008, three years before Trump even started talking about it.
The "short form" is a legal birth certificate. If you were born in Hawaii and asked the DOH for a copy, that's what you'd get. For some reason, people didn't think it proved anything and demanded a higher level of proof.
The "short form" is good enough to get a passport, enlist in the military, get a driver's license, sign up for youth sports, etc. It's acceptable in any court anywhere in the US as proof of when and where someone was born and the information on it is presumed to be truthful unless someone can offer enough evidence to overcome that presumption.
Yet for some reason, people thought that to be President, there needed to be a higher level of proof.
People asked "what took him so long?" in 2011. The answer was that he already released it.

The issue at hand it questioning Obama's eligibility to be President. Clinton did not do that.
And how many of those "PUMAS" are supporting Hillary now?

Smallhands, you don't get to tell me what the "issue at hand is".

The Clinton campaign built off of a racist rumor. They embraced racist imagery.

They tried to portray Obama as Muslim, "other", and without American roots.

For some reason you want to give them credit for only encouraging, and not deploring, the birther talk, instead of openly repeating it.

They only did it this way because they thought it was best politically.

So Bush started his two terms with the equivalent of an economic fart.

Obama started his with one of the worst recessions in American history.

    Good job, Obama!

    You win, YF.

You have proved that Hillary and her camp -- when campaigning for president -- can be almost as nasty as Donald Trump acts in his spare time.

You: Hillary Clinton didn't personally start the birther movement.

Me: Yes, but her supporters did. She didn't denounce them. She played on it, putting out there that he was a Muslim, and made other racial/racist arguments.

You: Stop moving the goal post.

LOL. I can understand why you don't want to defend her. She's deplorable.
