Great. Now deal with the content of what he said.

What content is there to "deal with"? I've made no bones about where I come down on Trump ... he's a steaming pile of shit.

Dan-O's bitching about a mess that is at least partly of his making. If he's so invested in the Fourth Estate as a key guardian of the American Experiment, perhaps he might have acted a bit more responsibly when he was a part of it.

The workforce participation rate increased every single year of the Carter administration.

    1) But the unemployment rate has fallen.

    2) W was the first President since Nixon who left office with a participation rate lower than when he entered office. Yet I never heard people complain. Why did the falling participation rate only start to matter in 2009?

Because Tony doesn't want six weeks in the hidey-hole again.

@Justin_Rice and @old_tony ... Neither one of you is remotely qualified to be discussing the dynamics of the U.S. workforce as manifested in the LPR. Further, even if either of you was qualified, there's no way on God's green Earth you could credibly "blame" or "credit" any President for what's going on in the LPR.

You're both being silly. Stop it.

Do you really think it's so hard to figure out that when the Labor Participation Rate is low, the economy is not good? Are liberals fooling you when they tell you the economy is great right now?

I think it's very hard to figure that out when you're unclear about: 1) what measures comprise (and don't comprise) the LPR; and b) what's going on behind those measures.

Suppose the LPR was 0% ... Would that mean it's a good or a bad economy? What if it was 100%?

New Pennsylvania poll, Muhlenberg College. Clinton up 9 on Trump head to head, up eight in four-way. Pennsylvania in-state pollsters notoriously horrible, but it's a data point.

So how come Trump saying that Ted Cruz was not American citizen was not considered racist
