Maybe the dumbest thing you've ever written, and that's a very high threshold.

The inability to carry on a discussion about one candidate without somebody bringing up the other is maddening. It's like a sports radio caller bringing up Team B when talking about Team A's problems. Very simplistic.

Excuse me. That was a well-researched, informed post with airtight logic. How, exactly, was it stupid?
This isn't the fucking Paper Chase.
There's no fucking way it was stupid.

If we didn't raise the issue regarding the racist nature of Clinton's 2008 campaign, would it ever come up?

Seems most in the media want to send it down the rabbit hole, along with super predator comment, and other instances of racism.

Fuck, the Clintons used to talk tough on illegal immigration, and were for building a wall. Has that come up?

The media would happily give her a pass on all of this.

The only talk I'm seeing of it - outside this thread - is Trump surrogates trying to rewrite Trump's history of doing it.

Trump didn't raise birtherism the entire campaign.

Only the media was determined to talk about it.

And then Hillary raised it at the Hispanic Caucus dinner.

So, Trump is forced to comment on it, and the media melts down. Between getting Rick-Rolled at his announcement, and the fact that he's forced them to acknowledge Sid Vicious' role in spreading the rumor, they don't know what to do.

That was embarrassing. I feel badly for him.

Former 2008 Clinton campaign manager, Patty Solis Doyle, has admitted that a staffer circulated the birther rumor.

Somehow, instead of thinking this taints the campaign, she wants a medal for firing the staffer.

One more question for the very upset media: Did you ever confirm the name of this staffer, and/or talk to them?
