    Except like most polls, they don't tell us the margin of error, which is more than just a little.

    With a sample size that big, and with proportions that small, the margin of error is trivial. Trust me on this ... I do this shit for a living.

    And it's a stone-cold fact that applications for unemployment benefits factor into unemployment estimates not one iota.

    Is 25,000 really that big of a sample when the total eligible work force would be something like 250 million? There's really no "margin for error" there?
