Since Trump has said he wants to kill terrorists' families, does that mean he's going to kill American citizens?

People care about due process, but they aren't willing to die senselessly for it. They don't want her measured caution right now. Much like Orlando, this could result in a significant bounce for Trump. And wait until the debate, when she is arguing for a fair trial and he wants to protect you and yours, whatever the cost.

 

Dick, Orlando did NOT result in a bounce for Trump. Coming as it did in the immediate aftermath of Clinton clinching her nomination, polls in that period were her second-best behind the post-convention period.

 

It's funny. Some of the Trump defenders here and elsewhere like to claim that ISIS and other terrorists prefer that Clinton become president. Are we just assuming they are too stupid to realize that every attack they engineer or inspire actually helps Trump?

 

The non-governmental people who monitor ISIS communications all say the organization is delighted with the prospect of President Trump. Good for recruiting, and maybe they can draw him into what they regard as an inevitable cataclysmic war in the Middle East. Odd how they and some extremely fundamentalist Christians share that same prophecy.

Not a terrible morning of polling for Hillary. She's only down -5 in the LA Times tracking poll after two straight days of -7, and she's up +5 in the NBC News poll, I believe. I believe that was just head-to-head.
