You're not a real journalist if you've never taken a call about contrails, the Trilateral Commission, or the Bilderberg Group.

 

Trump supporters absolutely do NOT want this, in any way, shape or form.

Literally the entire movement is built on the desire to be an asshole to everyone without recrimination.

 

Real problems are very difficult to solve. America's problem is that it keeps inventing problems where they don't exist and trying to solve them.

Not so. Yes, those are Trump's most vocal supporters. But it wouldn't amount to half the country. He has convinced Republicans -- so far -- that he is a regular Republican. They can vote for him out of habit. the way most people always vote.
I will say that vocal empowered minorities of the public can cause big problems for any country.

 

A resume does not equal accomplishments.

 

It's difficult to accumulate political "accomplishments" in 2016 because one person's accomplishment is another person's disaster. Putting the Iran nuclear deal into motion was an accomplishment that half the country would not recognize as such.

 

Yes. Hence, why I specifically said "resume" and not "accomplishments."

 

It's another discussion entirely, but it really is time to do away with the Electoral College entirely. Popular vote, go get 'em.

 

I do think the Electoral College has outlived its necessity.

And it's dispiriting to live in a state that you know is going to go for one candidate or the other and that your presidential vote will not mean anything.

OTOH, if it's just popular vote, some swing states might never see a candidate. Why not spend all your time in the most populous states?

 

Obama ran the big foreign policy issues out of the White House. He had special envoys in place for every hot spot.

He didn't trust Hillary. She got to play Secretary of State, and travel the world, but her portfolio was limited.

She wasn't involved in the early Iran negotiations.

Kerry actually is much more trusted by Obama, and was given a big role in the Iran negotiations.

Where Hillary's fingerprints are evident, we see failure, as with the intervention into Libya, and the failure to provide proper security for our ambassador there.

 

Most of the swing states are populous states. It's just that the two biggest ones, California and Texas, are not.
