He definitely held his own in the first half, but she coaxed him out of his shell by poking at his business success first and then he just unraveled. He looked almost presidential in the first half, but then the coke wore off and he looked like a pissed puppy in need of a fix.

 

What was good about the job she did as Sec of State? How did the Russian reset go? Relations
with Israel? What did she do as Senator? Name some of her legislative efforts? Lets go back 26 years,
how did she do with creating nationwide healthcare plan?

Agree. I bet most lost interest after the first 30 minutes in which he killed it. If you were sitting in a state that lost jobs because of NAFTA it would have been hard to argue with his logic. "30 years in

It seems clear who won and if Trump has any hope of pulling this out he needs to recognize he lost. As was pointed out ad nauseam, Reagan and Obama both had bad first debates and came back stronger in the next debates. Trump needs to be better prepared, needs to stay on message and must have the focus on her negatives. I am confident he can do one of those three things but in order to win, he has to do better.
