No. You would pay the capital gains tax on whatever you sold it for (assuming you've depreciated it completely).

Pretty sad (and telling) when right wing blowhards pout because they've been waiting for Merry Wikimas and Santa Assange delivers a lump of coal.

Chris Rock didn't call him a traitor and neither did anyone else in that link YF posted.

Actually, now I'm seeing that the video press conference turned out to be just a celebration of the site's 10th anniversary. Assange said there was no announcement, and that he didn't have any animosity toward Hillary Clinton, nor was he choosing sides in this election. He said there would be further reveals between now and U.S. Election Day, but not necessarily a Clinton bombshell. Just run-of-the-mill Wiki stuff about a variety of topics.

I caught up with yesterday's "Morning Joe." Besides Scarborough's frustration about the lack of polls, he made the point that Trump is people's "default candidate" in this election, and that they return to him time after time once the latest conflagration recedes, because the mood is throw the bums out (my words, not his, but fairly represents his point) and he's running against a "lifetime bureaucrat." Nicole Wallace said that Conway and Bannon need to "sledgehammer his cell phone, Clinton-style," and she's right. He's going to look back on this election and realize that he was thiiiiiis close to being the president of the United States, but couldn't keep his damn fool mouth shut about stupid shit. They were astounded at his speech on Saturday where he mocked Hillary Clinton getting into her van on 9/11, and speculated about her infidelity to Bill.
