    Some people have always had a very dark outlook on him. There's something about him which simply seems to blacken some people's moods. Perhaps they should lighten up.

    Seriously, I make a conscious decision to buy shoes/suits/dress shirts that are Made in USA. Not trying to be holier than thou, just trying to practice what I believe in.

    Jobs are not coming back because of govt. subsidies, that's not going to work long-term.

    Come to think of it, the one suit I own was made in USA. Of course, it's going on for 20 years old now.

    Or we could finally come to grips with the fact that those jobs aren't coming back because it makes economic sense that manufacturing be done elsewhere, and move on.

    By "economic sense," do you mean that there are countries that will allow factories to employ workers for 10 cents an hour?

    Yes. That is what they have to offer right now - cheap labor. They would be worse off, not better, if we did not buy products made there.
