    Part of the reason I wanted her to be the nominee is they play for keeps. Kerry and Gore lost in part because they were soft. They didn't fight back and stayed polite. Clintons have many flaws, and some of their flaws are related to this, but they know how to oppo research.

    CNN says, btw, that NBC/Access Hollywood had this story and was almost ready to go when they got a call from Fahrenthold. They supposedly went back and listened to old tapes. So maybe it wasn't them. But they way they laid the trap with Machado knowing Trump would have a meltdown shows they're playing chess and he's playing smear poop on the checkerboard after he flips it over.

    One thing that stood out to me was how easily he (and Bush) walked off the bus and acted soooo "nice". Total phonies. It was so easy.
