The line between crude proposition and assault is an awfully precarious one on which to anchor a position.

Bill Clinton did not sexually assault Paula Jones. He didn't touch Paula Jones.

Paula Jones's civil lawsuit did not allege he sexually assaulted her or that he touched her.

Paula Jones claimed she was a victim of workplace sexual harassment for turning down him down when he propositioned her.

The dismissal of the lawsuit was not a technicality. It was dismissed because, even accepting every single claim by Paula Jones as true, there was not evidence to support of finding of workplace sexual harassment.

Bill Clinton eventually settled the case for less than half of what Paula Jones asked for in settlement of the case.

And none of this has one single thing to do with Donald Trump bragging about his pattern of sexually assaulting women.

The definition of what constitutes sexual assault has broadened over the years. Clearly Bill, judged by today's standard, has committed sexual assault in his day.

That said, anybody who thinks Trump hasn't done worse in his day is dumber than dishwater ...

Meanwhile, a sitting Republican senator from Idaho has called for Trump's withdrawal. Pence pulled out of a rally today. Trump has been forced to give himself the dreaded vote of confidence.

This is starting to get even more away from him than normal.

    This type of thinking?

It was a statement of fact. That it hasn't been twisted and contorted by your favorite right-wing meme manufacturers is probably throwing your thought process.
