    Let me explain this to you in English: If your wife killed someone in a DUI incident, your response should not be to claim the victim was a slut or a nut for being in the path of your wife's car and that your wife is just being targeted by some vast conspiracy.

    No one blames her for her husband's affairs, but they are rightly critical that she not only defended him but helped go after the women because it was politically expedient. It shows that political power is the only thing important to get her and she will do whatever she has to in order to gain/retain it.

    And that concludes my monthly Useless Response To A Simpleton.

    OK, gang: We've tried to be understanding since it is an election year and we've allowed some leeway on this thread because if you're posting here you know what you're getting into and the risks. But a few of you are taking it too far even with the leeway and it is causing problems.

    We won't hesitate to lock this if it continues and go back to no politics. Discuss, debate, even argue - but tone it down a bit so this can continue through Nov. 9. Which can't get here fast enough.

    We thank you in advance because I know there will be cooperation. Carry on
