Remember when there were reports early on that Trump asked advisors why couldn't nukes be used in war?

Or for Marlins Guy to show up. He stayed at Trump's DC hotel and was at today's Nats game.

A big part of Hillary's campaign is based on why she's qualified to be president and Trump isn't, and why she says she's more qualified is because she worked closely with Bill, saw the inner workings of the White House, and then later served under another Democrat president. If she's going to claim to have had a hand in their successes -- policy and otherwise -- she doesn't get to distance herself from their failures.

The most fascinating thing about this election is that Trump seems determined to win a message board argument, not an election. That's what his biggest apologists don't seem to grasp. Feeding you red meat and bringing up Webb Hubble-is-Chelsea's-father crap was never going to work with the larger electorate. But for years and years, the most anti-Clinton folks have been bitching "if someone just had the guts to take the gloves off..." and now here we are.

News flash: You can't win an election just jerking off to the same lunatic theories that you read on-line. Reasonable people don't want to hear it, but there is such an echo chamber for it, people advising Trump think it's a winning argument.

The whole "Trump speaks to economic anxiety" argument sounds great until you ask yourself "Why does economic anxiety someone how mean only White Men?" Why are these people going on Storm Front to gush about Trump? It ain't because they're upset about TPP.

Economic anxiety and the lack of middle class jobs might be a honest appeal, but his answer has never, ever been presented without: "And brown people are partially to blame for your woes."

You could put a shit ton of angry white people (and people of every color) back to work with a huge infrastructure program meant to rebuild our bridges and highways and cities. But "big gumbamint" will always be an easy thing to shit on.

Didn't we try that a few years ago and basically throw billions into the wood chipper for "shovel ready jobs"?

Bill's infidelity is Hillary's failure? I don't think that plays very well.

I also don't see how this is anything but red meat for people who would never, ever vote for Clinton. And it likely will disgust most others. I could be wrong.

    Sure does.

She was Secretary of State. That's her resume.

Last night someone had a sign written on a whiteboard that said "WORST GAMEDAY EVER," so they're on track for it.
