Where a big divide will deepen after this election is on those with college degrees vs those without.

Democrats and Republican leaders both look down on the manual labor/manufacturing voters within their parties.

I write this as a reporter who covers a ton of manufacturing stories. I walk more manufacturing floors than the damn politicians do. They're not all the same. Some are really advanced on safety, worker environment and cross training.

Others are absolute sweatshops where the leathery face of a 55-year-old man working in a manufacturing plant, surrounded by loud noises and classic rock blaring for nine hours will age anyone prematurely. Many of their products sell to China and South America -- not just our country.

These beaten down workers... are the Trump voters. The younger manufacturing types may have a two-year degree or, smartly, see this as a pathway to welding or plumbing (which pays really, really well). The older ones, though, are beaten down with life. They got hooked on smoking and skipping school at 15 and now fund retirement through the hope of scratch off tickets.

It's hard not to see them, shake their hands and not feel some level of sympathy. They think someone like Donald Trump is on their side.

One can enter the workforce at 18 in a job like this and make good money for a teenager. But, eventually, it will cash out your body and your hands.

I'm encouraged when I see more high schools considering tech courses and paths as I don't think college should become an extension of high school. I wouldn't mind higher property taxes to provide enhanced training for manufacturing careers -- this sadly gets voted down constantly where I live.

Once the aftermath of this election hits, the chattering classes in the Republican Party will say, "you forklift operators, you gave us Trump. Just leave the politics to those of us with the degrees."

(On a final note, I know that, while I write and anchor newscasts and they make gaskets, their manufacturing business will likely be in better shape than mine in 20 years. I'm well aware of this.)

If it's possible, Giuliani is more unhinged than Trump. Rudy's manic.

That's about the correct ratio of his voters and her voters in current polling, no?

I guess it wouldn't be that high.

There seems to be a lot of chatter that his pledge to appoint a special prosecutor was a bad move. Was it? More than half the country thought she should have been charged. History shows that when he keeps attention on her emails, he surges.

Who is this guy and is there a shred of truth here?

The chatter is about him saying she would be in jail, not about the special prosecuter.

I still don't know why that takes people's breath away. A majority of citizens think she should have been charged.
