    Well, admittedly, my vigor does rise and fall with the polls, but also, my wife works Saturdays and Sundays, so I'm a little busy. By the time I checked back in, the thread had gotten away from me, and the debate was starting.

    Don't worry, if Trump's numbers come back, I'll be moving on this thread like a bitch.

    He'd demand everybody in the GOP kowtow to him. If they didn't, he'd start ripping them on twitter and then try to get a Trumper to primary them.

    That's nonsense. That vote was all about the posturing. There's not a swinging dick in Congress who was going to vote against a bill that lets the 9/11 families sue the Saudis five weeks before an election. Once they get back, they'll reel it back in and make adjustments. Leadership on both sides have already said so. Obama is right, passing it as written is going to make American diplomats, intelligence agents, and military personnel vulnerable to foreign courts.

    I'm sure Burnett's desire to keep the outtakes under wraps is far more financial than political.

    Trump is a golden goose for Burnett and if Trump pops up in a Klan hood, the Trump franchise becomes radioactive forever. If it isn't already.
