I think there is a danger for down ballot Democrats if Hillary's lead in the polls reaches double digits.

Will young people show up on November 8 and vote if Clinton will easily win?

That would take up their time, especially if their phones aren't fully charged and they start panicking. All for a nominee they didn't really like to begin with.

2008 was historic and people wanted to be involved. 2012 brought urgency to vote.

This presidential election is a forgone conclusion.

 

We'll take our chances.

 

Everyone just wants it to be over - and knows that it won't be for four years minimum.

 

Trump will make sure his voters blame Paul Ryan and other establishment republicans blame them if/when he loses.

Morning Joe, who loved Trump early on, condemned him as he won the nomination, and recently went on a pilgrimage to Trump Tower with his girlfriend to make up with Trump, as Trump peaked in the polls, just called republican politicians who's support for Trump is more dependent on Trump's poll numbers than his actions, weasels.
