In all seriousness, I'm wondering how @YankeeFan is feeling about the fact that he finally got the cathartic Clinton moment that he has been hoping for for years. Jones, Broaddrick, Willey, and Shelton, all in a room together, and someone putting her on the spot. This was Breitbart fanfiction come to life.

I mean this earnestly: Was it everything you hoped it would be?

I like Paul Ryan a lot.

He can articulate conservative beliefs persuasively, and doesn't come across as crazy.

But, there's a reason he didn't want to become speaker. It's a no win job, especially in this climate. Too many Republicans, perhaps unfairly, are disappointed with his leadership. I don't see how he wins a republican primary.

    New polls out:

    Rasmussen: Clinton +5
    The Atlantic: Clinton +11
    L.A. Times: Trump +2

Maybe the GOP field shrinks in 2036.

    You're applying the pre-Trump rules to a post-Trump world. Not a very high-percentage move, I'd wager.

Trump citing online polls gamed by his followers is one of the most hilarious things about this very sad campaign.

IF he had held firm and not endorsed Trump, I would have some respect left for him. He DID represent a pragmatic, sane conservatism that a lot of people are drawn to.

Then, he endorsed a toddler, a mostly liberal toddler, for president.

    He stands for nothing.
