We won a quarterfinal series! Champagne for everyone!

Have always hated this "tradition." It's lame.

There's champagne for everyone just for getting into the quarterfinal series.

Werth getting thrown out -- now you have your Alex Gordon answer, Kansas City.

Between that and Bryce Harper getting picked off on the 10th pickoff throw -- seriously, how can you get picked off when the pitcher just spent five minutes throwing over there? -- it was not a good night on the basepaths for the Nationals.

I have to reluctantly agree. Loved him in San Francisco, had a great regular season clubhouse and all that. Tolerated losing the NLDS to the Mets in 2000 since, hey, they were there. But Game 6 in 2002 WS proved to be a tell. And now tonight.

Quite true, but I'm not giving back that 2002 title.

Long term, made 2010, 2012 and 2014 much sweeter. And as someone pointed out uptopic, they won without Bonds. Yes, a Giants fan saying winning without Bonds was a good thing.

Long time Dodger fan here so "I loves me sum' Dusty". But what a freaking chess match that was between an African-American and an African/Japanese American manager. Back and forth went the series and it ended up almost dead even. It's a shame one team had to lose. The freaking substitutions were masterful for both sides but at the end of the match it came down to Clayton Kershaw vs. Wilmer Difo, check and mate for Dave Roberts.
