Trump's going to be roundly rejected. It won't be because he went scorched-earth w.r.t. Herself's record.

That'll be part of it, along with other stuff like the daughterfucking.

Maybe. But the only person to beat her in either a main election or a primary is the one who downplayed that angle. Too small a sample to judge and definite conclusions, but I suspect her anti-base overestimates how bad that stuff even looks outside of itself.

Oh, it's part of it. He sounds like a raving loon about her. He should have stuck to emails and Benghazi. Once he ventured into Breitbart Land, he overplayed it.

You and others are ignoring some other ... ahem ... developments.

Their wad was fully blown on Benghazi in the 11-hour hearing where Gowdy sat there looking like a sweaty poofer about to bust into tears while HRC simply rolled her eyes. They couldn't hang anything on her and everybody knew it.

The way to handle it is to keep it vague. Play off the vague feeling the public has that she is shady.

When you press for more, it exposes how much empty air there is in the accusations. No charges are filed in a meaningless IT kerfuffle, seven Benghazi hearings turn up zilch, and you're left howling over people in politics using business connections and second-tier DNC staffers having the audacity to have political opinions.

You just know some goober on Team Elephant will step into it in 3-4 years. "Trump was good in the beginning before he went too far."

I totally agree that polling organizations should get together in the future and agree to common phrasing of the big question (Who are you planning to vote for?) and to conduct polls on same days. If some major event happens midstream, scrap all data and start over a few days later. In theory, can you trust any poll in which half the respondents have more info than the other half?

Two questions they all need to add is "have you voted yet? and "if so, who for?" with the dramatic increase in early voting. Over a million cast by last Friday.
