Sorry, you're right. Noted flaming liberal MacArthur escalated it.

Truman Doctrine started the Cold War.

There was a little kerfuffle going in in Greece, a civil war. Yugoslavia begged the USSR to help the communists. Stalin refused, said it wasn't in the USSR's sphere of influence. It was, amazingly, and from 5,000 miles away, determined to be in the USA's sphere of influence. And so went the doctrine to fight any communist uprising anywhere on the globe. Screw you, Harry S.

That's not really correct, either. He blundered in ignoring China's warnings re: the 38th parallel, true, but he only wanted to escalate after China had poured in.

Which does nothing to refute the accuracy of my post . . . which comes straight from the U.S. State Department.

    "Stalin was mean."

Oh, well, OK then. That means we now have carte blanche to fuck with the world.

We sure "misunderstood" his intentions in Greece, didn't we? One of about 42,501 "misunderstandings" we've had with them over the years.

I guess this answers my question. Like Trump, tony needs an excuse for the upcoming presidential election, so he is going to cry fix even though neither of them can come close to supporting such an accusation.

You need to use "proven" to win over the SJ.com methodology crew.

Isn't the "rigged" freak out a little overblown? He's just saying the establishment, which includes Hillary and the media, works in tandem toward the end of maintaining the status quo.
